Amendment C163 proposes to make a number of minor corrections to the Monash Planning Scheme. It applies only to the following properties:
- 2 to 18 Miller Crescent, Mount Waverley (residential properties adjoining the railway corridor)
- 277 Huntingdale Road, Chadstone (a property on the edge of a local shopping strip)
- 27 Regent Street, Mount Waverley (a residential property adjoining Valley Reserve)
- 49 Westerfield Drive, Notting Hill (a property on the edge of a local shopping strip)
- 12, 14-16 Dixon Street, Clayton (car park associated with the Monash Medical Centre)

Council adopted Amendment C163 at its meeting on 27 July 2021 (refer to Item 1.6).
Update May 2022: Both parts approved and gazetted
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) split the amendment into two parts and approved both parts:
- Amendment C163 Part 1 came into effect on 10 February 2022
- Amendment C163 Part 2 came into effect on 6 May 2022
Amendment C163 Part 1 included the following properties:
- 277 Huntingdale Road, Chadstone (a property on the edge of a local shopping strip)
- 27 Regent Street, Mount Waverley (a residential property adjoining Valley Reserve)
- 49 Westerfield Drive, Notting Hill (a property on the edge of a local shopping strip)
- 12, 14-16 Dixon Street, Clayton (car park associated with the Monash Medical Centre)

Description of proposed changes
Rezone the rear of properties at 2 to 18 Miller Crescent, Mount Waverley (shown hatched on map) from Public Use Zone 4 (PUZ4) to the Neighbourhood Residential Zone – Schedule 3 (NRZ3) to reflect VicTrack’s disposal of the land to the adjoining landowners. The Vegetation Protection Overlay is also applied to the hatched area.
This component was split into Amendment C163 Part 2 and was approved and gazetted in May 2022.
Rezone the existing shop at 277 Huntingdale Road, Chadstone (land shown hatched on map) from the General Residential Zone - Schedule 2 (GRZ2) to the Commercial 1 Zone (C1Z).
Rezone land along the northern boundary with 27 Regent Street, Mount Waverley (shown hatched on map) from the Public Park and Recreation Zone to the Neighbourhood Residential Zone - Schedule 2 (NRZ2) to reflect a successful historic adverse possession claim. The Vegetation Protection Overlay is also provided to the hatched area.
Rezone the existing shop at 49 Westerfield Drive, Notting Hill (land shown hatched on map) from the General Residential Zone - Schedule 3 (GRZ3) to the Commercial 1 Zone (C1Z).
