Portland Street North Reserve playspace in Mulgrave is now re-open!

Some highlights of the new playspace include a multi-play unit with two slides, climbing wall, rope bridge, monkey bars, and balancing elements.

There is also a double swing with basket swing, climbing net, trampoline and nature play areas.

Complementing the play areas are new bench seating and a picnic area.

We previously asked for your ideas on how we can improve this valued space and shared a draft concept plan for your feedback.

Thank you to everyone who contributed your thoughts on the project. Your ideas and insights helped to make this playspace more engaging for local children and their families.

In 2022, we sought ideas and feedback from the local community for a new playspace at Portland Street North Reserve, Mulgrave.

We incorporated some of the community’s ideas into an exciting draft concept plan and sought community feedback for it earlier this year.

Construction took place from April to June 2024.
