The playspace at Flora Road Reserve was upgraded in August 2023 and is now open for the local community to enjoy.

The new local playspace features:

• a climbing combination unit with slide, monkey bars and climbing wall
• two-bay swings including basket seat and toddler seat
• a new accessible spinner
• a new rocker
• a new shop front/cubby house
• exciting nature play elements including balance logs and rocks, log table and chairs set
• flowering trees and garden beds.

The reserve also features new landscaped pathways among the established deciduous trees.

In 2021, Council sought ideas and feedback from the local community for a new playspace at Flora Road Reserve, Clayton.

Those ideas were incorporated into an exciting draft concept plan, which received further feedback.
