The playspace at Atheldene Drive Reserve has been upgraded and is now open for local families to explore and enjoy.

The new playspace features:

• a new play fort with slide, tunnel, firefighter's pole and sensory bars
• new curvy monkey bars
• double swings with toddler seat and sling seat
• new fitness pull-up and dip bars
• a fun new rocker see-saw
• natural play balance logs and rocks.

The upgrade also includes new landscaping that links the existing established deciduous trees with the new playspace area.

The reserve also has seating.

In 2021, Council sought ideas and feedback from the local community for a new playspace at Atheldene Drive Reserve, Glen Waverley.

Those ideas were incorporated into an exciting draft concept plan, which received further feedback.
