Masterplan projects are well on track

Construction of a new two-level sporting pavilion at Mount Waverley Reserve is nearing completion.

Delivered as part of the Mount Waverley Reserve Masterplan, and assisted by $7M in Australian Government funding, the new pavilion will better accommodate the needs of existing users, including the Waverley Blues Football/Netball Club and Mount Waverley Cricket Club.

The reserve masterplan has seen redevelopment of the sports field and lighting works completed as well as an upgraded playspace finished and open for the community to enjoy.

Construction of new cricket practice facilities, featuring five synthetic cricket wickets and six turf strips, is almost completed as well as a maintenance shed to serve both the Council’s horticulture team and the cricket club.

A new toilet block is set for completion in June while the pavilion works are expected to be finished by September.
