The Mount Waverley Reserve playspace reopened to the community in June 2024.

Armed with community feedback, Council has transformed this space to create exciting experiences for the local community.

Some highlights of the new playspace include:

• New play unit with slides
• New triple swing set with basket swing
• New inclusive carousel
• New timber log ladder
• New trampoline
• Nature play area
• Shelter with picnic table and dual cooktop barbecue.

To accommodate the program of works at the reserve, the barbecue and drinking fountain at the playspace will be operational in late 2024.

In 2022, we sought ideas and feedback from the local community for a new playspace at Mount Waverley Reserve, Mount Waverley.

We incorporated some of the community’s ideas into an exciting draft concept plan, and sought community feedback for it in early 2023.
