Dorrington Child and Family hub is part of Council’s commitment to improving the accessibility and quality of early childhood services and facilities in the City of Monash. Providing facilities to meet the future needs of the local community the hub will consist of services that will support the health and wellbeing of children and their families.

Service elements
Upon project completion the Dorrington Child and Family Hub will offer:
- Two 33 place kindergarten rooms inclusive of outdoor learning environments
- A multi-purpose room / playgroup space with facilities to support sensory and neuro-divergent people
- A new base for Council’s Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Sleep and Settling program and lactation program (including a parents’ lounge, day stay sleep rooms, office, and courtyard garden)
This new child and family centre is part of Council’s commitment to improving the accessibility and quality of early childhood services in Monash, thereby enabling families to foster relationships with nurses, kindergarten educators, playgroup facilitators and other services all under the one roof.
