Project update
Overview
Council’s vision is to be a City that celebrates and champions for the arts and creative industries.
Public art is an important way that Council can invest in the arts and create spaces where people feel inspired, enriched and connected.
Monash is already home to many public sculptures, murals and artworks that you can discover, and we'd like to know what you would like to see more of.
The Public Art Policy & Framework is a refreshed approach to public art in Monash, and it will support Council to care for our collection, and commission new artworks in partnership with developers, industry and the community.
A review of Council’s public art program is a Year 1 commitment in the Monash Arts & Culture Strategy 2025.
