At the December 2023 Council meeting, Council endorsed the final Gladeswood Reserve Masterplan (masterplan) following public exhibition of the draft masterplan from 6 September to 22 October 2023.

The masterplan establishes the priorities for the development of Gladeswood Reserve over the next 10 years and sets out key recommendations to increase amenity and facilities at the reserve, improve existing facilities and better integrate the reserve with Mulgrave Primary School.

This project is to develop a masterplan for Gladeswood Reserve (Mulgrave), including the development of an Integrated Site Plan.

The masterplan will provide for the future development of Gladeswood Reserve, encouraging increased amenity for local residents, facilities to support active recreation and play, improved facilities for sports clubs and user groups, and better integration with Mulgrave Primary School. It will include an implementation plan (delivery timeframe to be determined) to ensure prioritised delivery of recommendations based on community outcomes.

Following consultation in early 2023, Council provided a draft masterplan for further community feedback.

In September and October 2023, the Monash community was asked to help shape the masterplan for the future of Gladeswood Reserve, including increased amenity, facilities to support active recreation and play, improved facilities for sports clubs and user groups, and better integration with Mulgrave Primary School.
