We are excited to start works at Diamond Avenue Reserve playspace in Glen Waverley.

We previously asked for your ideas on how we can improve this valued space and shared a draft concept plan for your feedback. Thank you to everyone who contributed your thoughts on the project. You can view the final concept plan below or in the Document Library.

The upgrade works will begin on 18 March 2024, and we anticipate completion by late May 2024.

Some highlights of the new playspace include:

• Multi-play tower
• Spinner
• Double swing with accessible attachment
• Dry creek-style garden bed with rock mulch
• New seating.

To ensure the safety of the community, we will close the playspace during construction and place site fencing around the playspace until the works are completed.

There may be minor traffic disruption during the day when supplies are delivered. We apologise for this inconvenience.

In 2022, Council sought ideas and feedback from the local community for a new playspace at Diamond Avenue Reserve, Glen Waverley.

We incorporated some of the community’s ideas into an exciting draft concept plan and sought feedback for it in 2023.
