Diamond Avenue Reserve playspace in Glen Waverley is now re-open!

Some highlights of the new playspace include a multi-play tower, spinner, double swing with accessible attachment, dry creek-style garden bed with rock mulch and new seating.

We previously asked for your ideas on how we can improve this valued space and shared a draft concept plan for your feedback.

Thank you to everyone who contributed your thoughts on the project. Your ideas and insights helped to make this playspace more engaging for local children and their families.

In 2022, Council sought ideas and feedback from the local community for a new playspace at Diamond Avenue Reserve, Glen Waverley.

We incorporated some of the community’s ideas into an exciting draft concept plan and sought feedback for it in 2023.

Construction took place from March to late May 2024.
