In 2015 Monash became an Age Friendly City with the World Health Organisation (WHO). As an Age Friendly City we aim to promote active, healthy ageing by looking at how to improve the liveability of our community through eight topics listed by the WHO.

  • Outdoor spaces and buildings
  • Transportation
  • Housing
  • Social participation
  • Respect and social inclusion
  • Civic participation and employment
  • Information and communication
  • Community support and health services

We want to hear from older residents to ensure that we meet the aspirations of of this valued community.

Help us determine Age Friendly priorities by taking a survey

There is a short version of the survey if you only have 5 minutes to spare, and a long version that goes into more detail if you have 15 to 20 minutes to spare.

The survey is voluntary and anonymous - your name is not required. Results from the survey will be used in aggregated form to inform Age Friendly City planning and no individuals will be identified. The results and anonymous comments may be included in reports or publications.

The survey closed on 30 May 2021.
